$10 Thanksgiving Preview Performance

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce $10 seats for a special Thanksgiving Day preview of its upcoming production, Indian Blood by A.R. Gurney, on Thursday, November 27th at 8pm.

Indian Blood, a play the New York Times called a "snow globe for the stage," is a touchingly funny family portrait, and a perfect comedy for the the holiday season.

Indian Blood

"Thanksgiving is the beginning of the holiday season," said Producing Artistic Director, Robert Cacioppo," and Indian Blood is a great comedy and beautiful play about a family at Christmastime in 1946. We want you to kick off your holiday season with us, and enjoy a night at the theatre."

The holiday season is a time to look back and to look ahead, and this nostalgic Southeastern United States premiere does just that. Indian Blood is the story of 16-year-old Eddie, who is in trouble at school, finding himself, his WASP family, his city of Buffalo - and even 1940s American society - at a crossroads of sorts. At once hilarious and poignant, Indian Blood is a holiday gift that audiences will cherish.

In addition to the $10 Thanksgiving Seats, Florida Rep is offering this performances to students completely free of charge, and admission on Thanksgiving Day is free for any high school or college student with a valid student ID. The performance begins at 8pm, and $10 seats are available by calling or visiting the box office at 239.332.4488.

"It is part of our mission to make Theatre accessible to all," Cacioppo finished, "and we stand by that mission. We believe that anyone who wants to see a play here should be able to."
