Florida Rep is currently running a production of Sondheim's hilarious nine-time Tony-winning musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, starring Tony Nominee, Stephen Mo Hanan, and tickets for that production are now available online.
The zany streets of Ancient Rome come alive in this musical farce with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a witty book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum has been delighting audiences for more than forty years!
Tickets for the theatre's March 1st fundraising event, Roman Forum 2008, are also available on the website.
On Saturday, March 1 at 6:30pm, Bay Street, in the Fort Myers River District, will be transformed into a Roman Forum and come alive with dancers, models, street performers, decadent food and wine.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum plays at Florida Repertory Theatre through March 16. Performances are Tues. – Sat. at 8pm, with 2pm matinees on Wed., Sun. and selected Saturdays.
