and mischievous characters find themselves mysteriously thrown together on the same totem pole. When these three tricksters unite, Africa's Anansi the Spider, Europe's Reynard the Fox and North America's Raven must compete to see who is the cleverest and most cunning in an epic battle of wits, story telling and mischief, of course. This delightful story is woven from some of the richest and most varied mythology and folklore from all over the world, and before the game is over, these three wily characters will have the audience in stitches! The Mischief Makers play on March 29, April 19 and May 10.

Following The Mischief Makers this week, the Lunchbox Theatre Series will rotate its three plays starting with ZAP! and Ms. Courageous.

ZAP! is an electrifying play about electricity – safety, history and conservation - and is the centerpiece of the Educational Theatre programs this season. Produced in partnership with LCEC (Lee County Electric Cooperative), ZAP! was a special commission, written by award-winning playwright, Eric Coble.

It is the story of Joanna Wilcox, a girl who doesn’t ask why the lights come on or what powers her flat screen TV. Audiences will join her on a fun and colorful journey of electric proportions! With the help of Zap, an Electrical Super Hero, and the three other stimulating spirits, Joanna travels through time to learn how to Get Smart, Get Safe and Get Saving! ZAP! plays on April 5 and 26.

Ms. Courageous is a collage of scenes from the lives of Elizabeth Blackwell and Marie Curie. Blackwell was the first woman in the United States to become a doctor with a medical degree, and Curie won two Nobel prizes for her work in physics and chemistry. Written by Joanna Halpert Kraus, Ms. Courageous explores the difficulties and challenges these two remarkable women faced and overcame. Ms. Courageous plays on April 12 and May 3.
