Emmy Winning Kat Epple at the Arcade Theatre

Florida Repertory Theatre is proud to announce a special to the season, a benefit concert given by Kat Epple, an Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated flautist and composer.

This annual event is notorious for being an evening full of unique music, art, fun, and surprises. Kat will be playing flutes from around the world, including Celtic, Native American, African, Suling and bass flute.

Ms. Epple will be performing with special guest musicians and performers, including: Chuck Grinnell, keyboard, DL Turner, harp, Lawrence Voytek, alternative audio, Nathan Dyke, percussion and didjeridu, Miko Amore, bass, James Taylor, mandolin. and surprise guest performers. The original music will include a variety of musical styles and moods, as it travels musically from the jungles of Africa, to a cool Celtic steam.

This fundraiser for Florida Repertory Theatre will be held in the Historic Arcade Theatre Monday, May 12th, 2008 at 7pm.

There will be an after concert party at Space 39 Modern and Contemporary Gallery and Patio 33 Restaurant in the Patio de Leon in the Fort Myers River District.
