The Flatiron Building is officially titled the Fuller Building after the founder, George A. Fuller, of the organization that funded the construction. Located on 175 Fifth Avenue on a triangular island block shaped like a clothes iron, the building was designed by Daniel Burnham. Built in 1902, the 22-story building has a height of 285 ft. (87 meters) and is considered one of Manhattan’s oldest surviving skyscrapers.
