The New Kid by Dennis Foon is designed for audiences in grades K through 5, but has something for kids of all ages. The New Kid is a unique, inventive and lightheartedly playful and is wildly funny. It is a play about a boy named Nick who just moved to America from a different country. Its his first day of school, and all he wants to do is fit in with the other kids, but Nick doesnt speak their language or know any of their customs. The audience sees through Nicks eyes just how frustrating and tough it can be when you are the new kid.

The Lunchbox Theatre Series also features And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank, a drama that combines interview footage with live theatre to take audiences into the life of Anne Frank and two Holocaust survivors whose lives she changed forever. And Then They Came for Me is a groundbreaking retelling of Anne Franks famous story, and is designed for students in grades 5 through 12.
